The best phone in the world is one you've
never heard of
iPhone 5?
Galaxy S3? Lumia 920? Pah. Oppo's prototype Find 5 handset blows them all out of the water with its ridiculous spec list
Hands up if you've heard of Chinese manufacturer Oppo. Anyone? No? Well, if the spec list for its rumoured Find 5 smartphone becomes a reality, it'll climb up the popularity ranks faster than an X Factor winner at Christmas.
Allegedly arriving with a frankly ridiculous 5in 1920x1080 display which will offer a Retina Display-beating 441 ppi (take that Nokia Lumia 920 and iPhone 4S), the Oppo Find 5 will also tear through Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with ease, thanks to its quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and a Samsung Galaxy Note 2-matching 2GB of RAM.
With a 12MP rear-facing and 2MP front-facing camera in addition to up to 32GB of onboard storage and a 2,500mAh battery, the Oppo Find 5's spec list makes it a likely contender for the best phone in the world – assuming, of course, that the prototype actually makes it to store shelves.
In the meantime, however, there's still the iPhone 5 launch on September 12th to look forward to – which should be more than enough mobile excitement to keep you going for the time being. Check out our iPhone 5 rumour roundup for all the latest news.
